You must have these two values: F and θ

$$Fx = {Fcosθ}, Fy = {Fsinθ}$$

$$Fx = {(12)cos(30°) = 10.39}, Fy = {(12)sin(30°) = 6}$$


Calculate F and θ

You must have these two values: Fx and Fy

Formula:

$$F^2 = Fx^2 + Fy^2$$

$$θ = cos^-1{Fx \over F} = sin^-1{Fy \over F}$$

$$F = {Fx \over cosθ} = {Fy \over sinθ}$$
